Crutches Coincidence?! (VIDEO)

I try to liven it up on campus when handing out bibles. Jayden happened to walk by at the exact time I was giving away free bibles to people using crutches. Weird right?! Get creative. And most importantly, get to the Gospel! šŸ™šŸ™ pray for Jayden. He said he is not a Christian.

Unreasonable Lesbian

This young woman chose to stay (only briefly) in the ā€œunreasonable zoneā€ marked out by chalk. She did leave after that so pray she comes back soon to talk and letā€™s me get to the Gospel. Foul language so watch out. [2 min]

Are UF Students Human?

This abortion analogy about UF students being humans went really well yesterday. (we here in Tallahassee have some sort of a rivalry you might say šŸŠšŸ¹)

  1. Are gator fans human? [yes]
  2. SIZE: Would you say the Florida gators football team is less human because they are smaller than the average FSU Seminole? [no]
  3. LOCATION: Are Gator fans less human because they live in Gainesville, Aka the swamp? [no]
  4. DEPENDENCE: itā€™s a well known fact that Gator fans are dependent on their parents and the government to afford to go to UF. Does this make them less than human? [no]
  5. DEVELOPMENT: Gator fans wear blue Jean shorts and mullets and Fanny packs, clearly showing their brains are not as developed as students here at FSU. Does this mean they are not as human as you all? [no]

I think lā€™ll refine a bit and keep it in the arsenal. šŸ’Ŗ

Tangible Evidence

Have you ever been told by someone youā€™re witnessing to that they need ā€œtangible evidenceā€ when it comes to God? Take a listen! [>3min]

The Week Before School Starts

I got to meet the Navigators and City Church ā€œSaltā€ college crews who were also gearing up for school to begin next week. I was testing out new equipment and handing out Bibles and Gospel Tracts. I was able to give away 5 Bibles and had a great convo with Xing Xing. She was interested in learning how to share her faith. Enjoy!

Jack Police and Bibles

I preached the Gospel from Psalm 32:1-2 today and the police arrived shortly afterwards to listen, this time. I also had a non-Christian named Jack come afterwards and ask me for a Bible! Please pray for his salvation. I also had some Catholics come up and ask what I was doing out on campus preaching. Curiosity and intrigue.

To that end, I need your help. If you have any old bibles that you donā€™t use anymore because you have at least one, please message me. Iā€™m giving them out faster than I can keep stocked. A great problem to have!

Gone Fishing

I went fishing today and a young 18 yr old Daniel walked up and asked about what was biting (Iā€™m brand new at fishing). We moved to talking about Paleontology and dinosaurs as that was his passion since he was three. Heā€™s at UF now and describes himself as an agnostic deist.

He and I talked for probably an hour while I was casting. I got to share the Gospel and the Christian worldview with him, but he needs your prayers. Pray he is drawn by God to eternal life and peace.

For You: always be ready for witnessing opportunities. They are everywhere. Be a fisher of souls. And no, I didnā€™t catch any fish. lol

Smear and Trash

Keep praying yā€™all. This lightning rod today is continuing to work to get conversations going. Well, not these specific girls but overall. šŸ’ŖšŸ’Ŗ

A Day of Abrahamic Convos

Yesterday was very fruitful in terms of conversations that I thought you should know about!

Islam: Last week a young Muslim man named Amir made some rude and inaccurate comments about Christ and our faith (which isnā€™t uncommon). I offered him a meal and a Bible if he ever wanted to talk.

This week he continued and I returned comments to repent (in an defensive spirit and tone). Yesterday I stopped him to talk and apologized and asked if we could start again. This started a great conversation about what Jesus actually said and was able to give him the Gospel clearly. Pray for Amir!

Judaism: Nina and Gabbie came up as I was talking to Amir. They waited patiently for the conversation to end. They wanted to dialogue about abortion. Nina said she was Jewish and also Pro Choice. We had a great civil conversation and I was constantly pointing her back to Godā€™s word as the ultimate authority for our decisions to protect innocent life that starts from conception. Science on top of that affirms unique DNA and life begins at conception.

We talked right up to when I had to go. Nina also, surprisingly, asked if she could have a Bible! Pray for these two as well. They sincerely thanked me for talking with them. They need the salvation and renewal of their minds given by Christ.

A great day indeed!

From my first interaction with Amir.

Bug Spray!

Pro Tip: Always carry with you in your pack a small bug spray container. Today was very gnat-y as are most July afternoons.

My small spray of bug spray saved me some sanity handing out Bibles and talking to students on my lunch break. Get some!
